Australian tax contribution summary

During FY21, AGL Energy contributed a total of $524 million in taxes (including corporate income tax instalments of $106 million). The decline in the overall cash tax is driven by a reduction in sales (due to a decline in the wholesale electricity price curves) and net profit.
