Emissions intensity of total revenue
The emissions intensity of revenue has been relatively consistent over the past five years, indicating a consistent link between revenue and carbon emissions over this period. As AGL Energy continues to diversify both electricity generation and revenue sources it is anticipated that this metric will decline. The increase in intensity since FY20 is due to decreasing wholesale electricity prices driving revenue down.
